exhibition design, concept design, graphic design, multimedia, animation

Info:

The goal was to find a solution for the presentation of objects representing various aspects of the everyday life in the late 1980s. By comparing the reality of that times, which are still not so distant, with the present day viewers had the opportunity to reflect on the role that items play in our lives, how our attitude towards them changes, what happens when we no longer need them, how the need to possess becomes a necessity to collect and what is the difference between them.

The arrangement of the exhibiition was focused around the idea of mobility. Also, it aimed to engage audience representing all generations – those who can relate to the presented reality as well as those, who weren't even born in 1988.

The main part of the exhibition were cubes with exhibited objects and two mobile units reflecting typical life of a young man and woman in 1980s.

The graphic identification of the exhibition was based on the dynamic design reminiscent of the 1980s style, rich in neon colors and geometric patterns.
